Spring Cleaning — There’s Always More…

“Always More” looks at what happens when accumulation stops feeling like choice and starts feeling automatic. Buying, keeping, repeating, until the volume of things quietly outweighs their purpose. What begins as desire flattens into habitual boredom.

Consumption becomes reflexive, shaped by images, trends, and the constant suggestion that something new is needed. The result isn’t just excess, but so much pressure. Pressure on space, on attention, on the way we move through our unique environments.

Photographer Emma Binois and Art Director Garance Douyrou capture the tension of overloaded saturation nearing collapse. Wardrobes spill past capacity, chairs strain under what they hold. There’s just too much, but always more. The question isn’t whether we have enough space, but why we keep filling it.
