MERDE : Everyone thinks they know "Meredith Duxbury" because of TikTok — what's something about you that the internet definitely gets wrong?
MEREDITH: I grew up camping, fishing, snowboarding and so love those raw moments which people may not expect from someone they see as a 24/7 glam girl!
MERDE: Off-camera, what's your guilty pleasure that would ruin the "beauty influencer" mystique?
MEREDITH: Vegging in bed eating McDonald’s lol. not the best thing for my skin but it’s all about balance
MERDE: What's the most non-aesthetic thing about your life right now?
MEREDITH: My mental health.
MERDE: You've built a career off of being bold with beauty — what's the last time you felt truly naked (literally or metaphorically)?
MEREDITH: I just had a big two day shoot for a fun project I’m working on and we spent the whole day slugging and smearing foundation on my face so when i got home and was able to shower it was liberating. i’ve never felt more naked and free lol
MERDE: If your friends had to describe you in three words that aren't "foundation queen," what would they be?
MEREDITH: bold, crazy, fun
MERDE: Do you ever think about what Meredith would be doing if she never picked up her phone and started filming?
MEREDITH: Yes all the time! she would definitely be event planning for a cool quirky brand or being a creative director of something eccentric!
MERDE: If 2025 Meredith could give 2019 Meredith career advice in one sentence, what would it be?
MEREDITH: Keep that creative spark going! and continue to fully embody you who truly are like no one is watching
MERDE: You've collaborated with some of the biggest names in beauty. Who's still on your "dream collab" list? What's the weirdest DM you've gotten since you went viral?
MEREDITH: Julia Fox! i think she is so iconic with all of her looks, and i love how she isn’t afraid to try something new. people like her are so important because they carve the way for creativity and keep the fun in the industry.
MERDE: Your followers are constantly asking, "what's next?" So... what is next? (Give us a breadcrumb at least.)
MEREDITH: Something tangible that you’ll be able to fully indulge in and dissect apart!
MERDE: Is there a part of yourself you feel Europe brings out that America doesn't?
MEREDITH: Yes! i always feel more inspired with my outfit choices in Europe! i think the different energy of the cities and people bring out different versions of me!
MERDE: What does comfort look like to you when you're far from home?
MEREDITH: Candles, matcha, and my beauty products!
MERDE: You've mastered transformation through makeup — what's something in yourself you've learned not to change?
MEREDITH: My personality! people love you for you so i’ve learned to embrace that instead of shifting it to appease other people.
MERDE: What's one thing you're still figuring out about being a public person?
MEREDITH: How much to share of my life specifically my relationships and my mental health.
